Honored Flight
The original pattern of The Heritage Collection

Some traditions are worth carrying forward.
The familiar call of a Bobwhite Quail across an open field. A Mallard rising from the water on a cool morning. The unmistakable silhouette of a Wild Turkey moving quietly through the woods.
While The Backyard Bird Collection celebrates nature with color and whimsy, The Heritage Collection is rooted in tradition—honoring the sporting birds, open landscapes, and outdoor experiences that have connected generations.
Featuring six treasured species—the Bobwhite Quail, Ring-necked Pheasant, Mallard Duck, Northern Pintail, Mourning Dove, and Wild Turkey—each bird is represented by an original hand-painted watercolor feather. Together, these individual works of art become Honored Flight, a timeless pattern inspired by the beauty of these birds and the traditions they represent.
Meet the Birds
Six Birds. Six Feathers. One Heritage.
From the quiet fields where Wild Turkey call, to the wetlands where ducks take flight, these six birds have long been part of the landscapes, traditions, and stories passed down through generations. Each was chosen to honor the enduring beauty of sporting birds and our connection to the great outdoors.

Meet the Artist
Keegan Spera
Keegan Spera is a South Carolina Lowcountry painter and mixed-media artist whose work is inspired by the natural world—from oceans and skies to animals and the quiet details found outdoors. Working in both acrylic and watercolor, her art blends detailed realism with warmth, color, and a touch of whimsy.
For The Backyard Bird Collection, Keegan hand-painted each of the eleven watercolor feathers individually, capturing the distinctive colors and markings of the birds that inspired them. Those original paintings were then transformed into the repeating pattern that became the foundation of Feather Finders' very first collection.
